All the rides at Volcano Bay feature a Virtual Line™. It’s the new way to wait that leaves you free to float, swim, splash, eat, shop or just relax until it’s your time to ride.
It’s the Only Way to Ride
For each ride, you’ll need to tap into the Virtual Line to secure a ride time. You can only tap into one ride at a time.
Relax and Play While You Wait
There’s plenty to do while waiting for your ride time. You can drift along the Kopiko Wai Winding River™, bob in the waves of Waturi Beach, play in the Runamukka Reef™ kids area, ride the torrents of TeAwa the Fearless River™, grab a bite to eat or just kick back and chill out—none of which require securing a ride time.
It’s Simple to Hop Into The Virtual Line
Here’s how to get in the ride lines at Volcano Bay:
1. Tap in at an attraction with your TapuTapu™ wearable and you’re in the Virtual Line™.
2. You’re free to explore the park while your TapuTapu™ counts down the minutes to your
return time.
3. When your TapuTapu™ vibrates, it’s time to return to your attraction with just a short wait before you ride.

Start Your Day An Hour Early By Staying On-Site

to Volcano Bay an hour before park opening. Take the complimentary shuttle bus from your hotel right to the park, or the convenient walking path from Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. All you need is your valid theme park tickets.
Keep a Lookout For “Ride Now!�?
When a slide’s entrance signage reads “Ride Now!�? you can tap right into those rides without losing your place in the Virtual Line™ for another attraction.
Switch Rides At Any Time
It’s easy to hop out of one Virtual Line™ and into a new one. Just tap into a new ride at any time and your return time will be updated.
Head To The Far Side Of The Volcano
When you arrive, make your way to the back of the volcano. You’ll find plenty of slides, lockers and food ready for your enjoyment (that other guests might not discover until later).
Capture Photos With Your TapuTapu™
Your TapuTapu™ wearable can catch shots you wouldn’t be able to get any other way. Use it to activate cameras at special photo spots throughout the park and get photos taken automatically on select attractions. Your photos will be available to purchase in the park.
